I had a question about incorporating a piece of production hardware into my DJ setup. I'm intrigued by Ableton and other similar programs, but i'm nto about to run out and buy a laptop to use it live. I was at Guitar Center today looking at some of those Korg music stations. I was wondering if I could upload all my samples and loops into one of things and basically recreate and mess with my own stuff live.
This is what I'm talking about...
I want to hook that up to one of the channels of my mixer and recreate my own stuff live and mix it into what I'm playing off vinyl and cds. basically add sort of a LIVE PA element to my DJing...?

uuhhh so what's the ??
I'd say go for it.
The only ?? I can imagine is if what you're gonna buy is good. The idea however is great and goes w/ the trend.

you want the esx1, not the mx. the mx is more synthy (which is what you might be looking for??) the esx1 is all sample based, load em up, plug em into the pattern and away you go.

I have a Xone 92 which has a MIDI clock and tap button, I'm told that will work...
