I just turned on my cdj 800 today and all of a sudden the platter isn't working...in vinyl mode, touching the flyer stops the track, but you can't back cue. In cdj mode it doesn't bend the pitch at all. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary with it...anyone know what could be up?

Angel (tenshi) is made up of two kanji with the first, ten, meaning heaven and the second kanji, shi, meaning messenger. Literally then these kanji read "Heaven's Messenger".

You don't have a denon so it's just a piece of plastic sitting there doing nothing...how was it "broke"

Do you have any warranty left on the product? In that case I'd ship it back before it runs out so you can get it fixed, otherwise I believe it will cost you a hundred bucks or two. Strange behaviour though, never heard of anything like it...:|
do u clean the cdj regularly and if so what do u do?

1. There's no "reset" procdure on the CDJ's.
2. Cleaning should consist of blowing dust off the top of the unit, and that's IT. Pioneer clearly states in the owners manual that you should NOT use any sort of cleaner on the drive itself.
