Trying Scratch Vocals on A Funky C Album

Numark turntabilist here, for whatever reason whenever I try to scratch Funky C's vocals on the album joya on the song chocolate in particular I just cant seem to get it right, any tips on what to do? You can check out his work online so you can hear what I am working with. Friend of mine who is an intern over at UMGD turned me on to him.
