Good luck with that, I have been doing stuff like that on and off again for 6-7 years now and it hardly ever goes anywhere decent.
Not to poo poo, but yea, just saying "I need a crew" doesn't really work. Most people, even if they suck want to play for an audience. Find a way to get people listening to your station with recorded sets or something like that then try to gather interested players. |
I wouldn't say that. I think most n00bs will take any chance they can get. I know I'd be all over it if I really thought I could get 2 hours of new material together each week. I think the prospect of even 1 person listening is more than enough for some people.

I made two hour radio show five years ago in weekly basis. It wasn't so easy to construct a show. Well it is, if you just put track after another - its not if you want to make quality package.
If you want people to listen your show, pay attention to quality.
It was pretty hectic to make the set, every week. Now one set/monthly basis plus one set (no basis) is excellent timeframe for me.
Don't plan project which can't be done.
Good luck. |
Yeah I think the hard part is just finding new tracks on a regular basis. I usually only add a few new tracks a month. I just can't keep up with finding two hours worth every week.
