Building a new booth

I have a nice, constructed booth in my place. I want to build a new one. Does anyone have any suggestions on what materials to get and how to go about it? What i have now is just a large desk-like towith angled walls. All my equip. is placed on top. I want to have something like you would find in a club. Any thoughts?

I still like to have it rocking. Keep in mind what this music is made for, first of all. Its not made to be easy listening on the radio. Its not made to be easy listening in television. Its actually kick ass in the club. This is what music is. This is the purpose of this art form...to listen to it and let the frequencies actually blow you away. --Paul Van Dyk

Hang it from the ceiling.

Right over the dance floor right? Or to the left of the light booth. Thanks for the suggestion

If your planning to throw big parties with a loud sound system
it would be a good idea to build a box type thing around you insulated with cork-board to deaden outside noise. also a couple of shelves for records amps, and other stuff would be nice, maybe a couple of cool lights or something.

The funny thing is I just designed a booth to be built by me based on the MOS booth. It will be a vinyl padded desk with a raised platform for decks, efx, etc. Will post pic when it is complete. If I m gonna do it, it's gonna be right...with a touch of class!
