Recording?

Looking to record some mixes onto my laptop. Not sure what processor speed it is, but it has 256K memory. What do some of you guys use out there and what do ya suggest with my limited recources given that I cannot upgrade the memory? right now im trying the normal windows recording stuff in the applications. anything i can use that dosent use much memory.

Yes..total recorder works real well. Even with my slow computer with 64 mb of memory, it worked fine for me
