I am looking to buy a DJM-500 ... so far ebay has been the cheapest price I found, but not by too much.... I live in the US and was wondering if anyone is selling one used or knows where to find one cheap...thanks

personally, I wouldn't buy one used off of ebay, because I don't trust people.. you never know if it has had beer spilled inside it or whatever..

curious though, how much are they on Ebay?

ok..this is why you buy the alan and heath xone series, they can have been spilled on them, and because the board are mounted vertically, there is relatively none, if any damage done.

the DJM series is shoddy construction....and highly overpriced for what you get!

Agreed, you can't beat either the sound quality or the build quality of an Allen+Heath Xone.

Thats my setup........2 Techs, Ortofon carts, Pioneer DJM600, Pioneer SE DJ5000 headphones...........two other turntables 2 other mixers a djcdplayer......

I've heard RANE makes some pretty phat mixers..

Does the Allen & Heath have effects???

if ur will to cash out for a Djm600 i would recommend go get ur self a RANE mp44 or RANE 2016 seriest Rotary mixer with extra console.....cost in the same price range....and for pure mixers it blows Djm600 out of the water...the only thing i believe Djm600 good is for effects

If your not going for the effects but for the quality you'll have buy a Rodec MX 180.
