Sorry for the Deadmou5 mayhem in the other topic. I know I don't post much in the DJ section but nevertheless I'm doing it now in good spirit.
For my graduation thesis I'm researching potential new business models for record labels. I'm trying to gain knowledge about the consumers right now. I've got this survey here, it contains only 10 easy questions which should take less than 5 minutes.
This thing is really aimed at niche segments. DJ's and EDM music lovers especially. What better place than TA?! I'm hoping anyone of you lots could help me out on this one!
For better of for worse I can even offer you a copy of any track that has been put out during my music production 'career'. If it helps giving the amount of replies that extra push I'll do it.

Thank you. I've tried my best to keep it simple but accurate for the information I need .
I've got a whole lot of producers to answer the form. It would be good to balance it out a little with some more dj response (as well as music enthusiasts for that matter). I'm at 40% of the responses I'm looking for. I'd like to surpass the 100 mark . Any more help is appreciated. It is a really simple survey

And yes I could share the results if you're interested! I'm not sure if I could within the context of my thesis but I can surely show who voting percentages and motivations on certain answers.

This is the first time I've ever read a music survey a student has posted on TA that wasn't riddled with flaws. Congratulations. I completed it just for that.
Edit: Haha, misread it and thought mine was just as flawed. Thanks man, I'm glad it seems to make sense. Especially since I've put it together quite fast since I'm on a short deadline now. Nonetheless, I thought needed some extra information to validate some of my conclusions a bit better.

I remember the first time I got an email into my university account containing a student's survey. It was so horrifically flawed I typed out a massive page of advice on what needed changing to actually make it a viable statistical resource. How naive I was.
Filled, though my recent music acquiring habits aren't typical of me, so I had to elaborate a bit in the provided fields. You may want to include an 'additional comments' option for such reasons.

I'd like to but the survey tool won't let me add any more fields unfortunately. So I'm limited to the size the survey is now. Thanks for helping me out!

At this pace this shit should be over by tomorrow noon-ish. I need about 20ish more to hit the 100 respondents mark I'm aiming for. Any bits of help are very much appreciated since I especially need response from dj's and music enthusiasts other than music producers. Thanks for the tons of replies so far.
