how big is Reason (MB) actually

Around 1 GB or so, bit less maybe, Give or take. 2 CD's anyway to burn the whole package. Mind you CD 1 only takes up around 379MB while CD 2 is pretty full.

I cant access right now but are the files cd1 and 2 one big file?? or are they split up into bits?

They are all a number of .rar files which extract to one .bin image file, so you then need to use either Fireburner or CDRWin to burn that image to a data format CD.
