Trist, men sant. :\

Hey!

Sorry for hijacking your thread in English, but I was really curious about why there are no more Hyperstate parties.
Could you please translate quickly what you've all said so far?

I was just watching that amazing video from Hyperstate 2001, the one with Astral Projection - Burning Up in the background. It's simply the best short video of a party I've ever seen!
All the people seem to enjoy the party SO MUCH! everybody dances, smiles, clothing is awesome, you can see it must have been such a wonderful atmosphere! I really love it

I don't know if this has to do with Norway or the way the scene was back in 2001, but I can tell that the scene has in my eyes gone shit in Western Europe, at least regarding huge parties in the NL.
I party there pretty often, started going there for the first time to Trance Energy back in February 2001 and I can't recognize the scene anymore.
Music is not that great, DJs, okay they have more lasers and stuff but it's all about the show, the crowd sucks ass, only half of the people dance, smile, truly enjoy themselves...

So I'm wondering how it's like in Norway now??
Looking back at Hyperstate, I can say say that you guys knew how to party!!

Morten Pedersen (Temple of Love) Threw in the towel for a while. It was him who had all the rights regarding the name I believe. The name has been sold, but it is difficult to say if anyone is going to use it. Inge aka. DJ Lemon behind the concept Atlantis did some of the work too, but I don't know if he has any plans of some events in the near future, but I doubt it.

Hyperstate in the format in which it existed is most definitive dead, even though the name has been sold.

I have to agree with Chem here. The era of super parties as Hyperstate is lone gone. Overcontrolling authorities, paranoid police, a decrease in the popularity of electronic music in the club scene, and blunders with projects as Atlantis, Futuredome, and Metropolis has ensured this doom.

Well..I really don't think anything else of thread needs to be translated, so there you have the most important stuff
