How's Sky as a venue? What's the electronica scene in Austin like as a whole?

SKY is THE place to be in Austin. Great Sound! and Austin crowd's!!? Fuck man.. no vibe better.

The only issue I've ever had with Sky is their renovation timing. Three floors, two of them shut down for construction, and Above & Beyond in a jam-packed first floor and nowhere to maneuver. If the other two floors are open, it's good times.
