I am looking for professional samples of different rimshots.

(Like kicks, but much lighter.)

you are asking for two different things. a rimshot is a drumstick being hit against the rim of a snare, giving the kind of "jungly" sound. But then you ask for light kicks. please clarify?

any of the above, preferably both.

Any light drum as long as it's not a heavy kick or snare.

i recommend that you just take a normal kick (usually the lame kicks work best for this, or really housy kicks) and raise the pitch a bit. Then EQ the bajeezus out of it. I wish i had a better answer. If you are looking for rimshots and are using reson, most refills have decent rim samples.

using reason...??? get the PERCUSTUFF refill... nice drum stuff in there
