Cube's crazy adventure at Club Division One
Alright, so I leave thinking oh half of new york is going to get to hear me play blah blah so happy. Cruising down the highway listening to Daniela's PPR Show, having a blast. I finally pull up to the club.
The guy before me is playing some crappy shit and no one is dancing, so he's on his last record and I look around like "where the ph00k is the computer?!?!?!?" It's not here yet, but he's coming late. So I knew things weren't going to go smooth. I start off with a little progressive house.......nothing...everyone looks at me braindead. So I was like alright that's it, I put on Nu-Nrg - Butterfly.....OMFG EVERYONE WENT NUTS. It was like mad dash onto the dancefloor. So the guy taps me on the shoulder and he's like "We're about to go live get ready." I turn down the booth monitor and get all prepared....to call of you guys. I hear "PH00K ME!!!!!!!!!!" and I just turned up the volume and kept playing.
Here comes the best part, so cube is going off on the one's and two's.......paul van dyk......nu-nrg.......rank 1....all the good stuff. The owners brother comes up to me and he's like YO turn it down!! So I was like ah o.k. as soon as he stepped out of the booth I cranked it back up  . So after him coming in four times, he finally got fed up with it.
So he comes in 10 mins left in my set, "IF YOU DON'T TURN DOWN THAT BASS I'M GONNA KICK YOU OUT OF THE CLUB!!!" So the d00d that's throwing the party is like Armando, there is 10 mins left do whatever the fuck you want. So I mixed in Gouryella - Gouryella and just went off with the bass. So right towards the end, he comes in, takes my record off, the crowd starts cheering, he grabs me by my shirt and throws me out of the club  . So Cube now, is pissed off because no one got to hear him, and he gets thrown out of the club for slamming the bass .
As I'm walking to my car the head guy from the crew is like bro. You're incredible and we want you to join our collective crew. Which basically means that any major events they do, they will call me up to spin with them.
So basically what appeared to be awesome turned shitty, then got worst but yet funny at the sametime, and then ended up good. I'm happy....sorry for the asshole who showed up late and didn't get everything set up correctly. But I will one day hopefully will be able to spin for you guys, maybe with Arturo, maybe with fl0, chris a.k.a. x-phactor, dee, or YOU!!!!!!!!!
