Can someone recomend a good MP3/WAV splitting, sequencing and sound upgrading software?

For splitting, I use a program called "HP Split" I think. Works very well.

Thanx for the recomendations I was mainly looking for a program to add track splits to live sets it gets tedious having to fast foreward 40 min. to get to parts you like.

Oh, splitting a live set is somewhat easy with Cool Edit Pro 1.2-2.X If you know anyone with it, or you can buy it for ~$200, look at this website.

are you kidding me? HJ split blows for splitting mp3s unless you just want to make big files smaller for downloading.

try mp3directcut (freeware and non-bloated for win32):

there's other features too, such as normalising and recording.

I use Goldwave... Split, filter(pop, hiss), edit, whatever. Very nice lil app.

I use sound forge. It lets you cut music any which way you want and I save it as a wav file. There may be easier programs out there, but I've used sound forge for about 3-4 years and its really easy. You just cut and paste and save...
