Insigma - Open Your Eyes and Hydra - Affinity

[rant]
ok this has really been getting to me for some random reason, but am i the only one that thinks theses tracks are reeeeeeally similiar? i.e similiar melody, beat, breakdown, bassline

On the note of hydra - Affinity, its a really great track and all, but i wish armin/pvd/tiesto wouldnt play it in every single set of theirs!!. Seriously i have downloaded 5 sets in the past week ( ranging from mid 2002- 2003)and its there again and again and again!!.

Im not jaded.

[/rant]

Well seeing how they are both done by the same producer (steve helstrip aka. Thrillseekers), then they are bound to have the same sound. Just like M.I.K.E. has a unique sound, so to does steve.

ohh i had nfi that this was made by the thrillseekers ( 1 of my favvve producers). I hate these stupid producers who adopt a new alias for every new track they make! :x, how is a poor noob like me supposed to cope?

nah dude you cant say they are similar
helstrip is a musical genius muthafucka

different names mean different collaborations or style
thats why i think he adopts the different aliases

open your eyes (goldenscan remix) owns

I also am not a big fan of Hydra - Affinity, doen't really do anything for me. However, Open our eyes - Insigma is a different story, so unique and cant stop hammering it !

the life cycle of awesome tracks demands that they get caned to death for a few months
but after a while it loses its appeal
but hydra - affinity is a sick track

They're both good tracks but I prefer affinity. But yeah they do sound a bit similar but not any more than heaps of other tracks. As OLI said, the amount these guys play mean that any track is inevitably going to be worn out.

Couldn't really say I prefer one or the other, they are both awesome tracks. Probably my favourite would be the Goldenscan mix of Open Your Eyes

Affinity sounds nothing like Open Your Eyes...

Alizee - J'en Ai Marre (Soft Skin Mix) sounds more like Open Your Eyes

Soft Skin = Steve Helstrip btw

id have to argue , they both have that super bubbly euphoric melody to it , with the super soft peak which essentially sounds like a breakdown that lasts for the entire track. Then again i could be thinking of the wrong track
