Child Of The Universe

Hey guys! I was wondering what the Opera vocals from Dj Taucher's Child of The Universe is from. I heard a version of the lyrics on Paul Oakenfold's Another world. Those lyrics bring back some memories!

It's a classy tune indeed. Not Taucher's best but good anyway. The operatic part is a sample from Dead Can Dance - Sanvean.

That is why the full name of the tune is Taucher - Child of the Universe (Sanvean). My fav versions are Extended Club Mix (9:08) & Phase II Mix (9:14).

i seriously insist that you people check out Dead can Dance! i know oakey has always been a massive fan, the singer Lisa Gerrard is the one who did the vocals for the Gladiator soundtrack, and was featured on Cass & Slide - Glad I Ate Her, and Paris & Sharp - Aphrodite.

There is a Best of CD, it will tell you all you need to know, brilliant chill out music.

Word.Dead Can Dance - The Host Of Seraphim is probably one of the most emotive and beautiful pieces of music I've heard in my life.Spine-chilling vocals.

Yeah, i have Dead Can Dance's 1991 album called Passage In Time, which features The Host Of Seraphim. That tune is absolutely amazing has very spine-chilling vocals indeed!!

Btw, Orkidea - Unity samples The Host Of Seraphim for those who don't know it.
