Can I Extract Just The Audio.......

From a video file? i want to make a sample and im searching for some software that would allow me to do that.if anybody has any info let me know thanks!....

well i use total recorder for any audio recording pruposes....all i do is play a dvd on my pc or input the vcd to the lien in and record...its so simple
