Worm Popper Kompulsor - Unstable System

I wrote a new track. This one is hard like my previous ones, but the atmosphere is now more "cosmic", dreamy, and futuristic.

Kompulsor - Unstable System

What do you think?

i'm really diggin that delayed synth. it is kinda hard to discern which of the sounds is the lead, and which of the synths is the lead. i do not like, however, that saw that is doing octaves. the effects in this are pretty good for the most part. the percussion is nice. the bass in the intro i'm not too fond of. i love that synth at 2:30. I feel that this song is lacking in energy. i think a more defined lead and more powerful samples would suit this piece nicely. keep it up.

sounds fairly nice mate, somewhat original by itself. though like some others have said, it misses the necessary energy and phatness...

keep it up

Love

thanks guys for your comments

You are right, it does lack energy at some points - maybe I can improve on that by changing the bass (right now it's simple offbeat) and adding some percussion. Also the echoey synth takes away some of the energy I think -- for the build-up it's fine, but in the main section the sound should be clear, like nic said...

Flotser, the original vocal sample was "broken up" like that -- I just added some fx and a pre-voice.

BTW nic, you don't like the saws? hehe, why?
You'd better get used to them 'cause they're Kompulsor'z trademark sound!
Kraftwerk power!

i dont like the saw note pattern. the sample is ok. could use some tweaking. also:

you you mean synths with lots of delay on them? if that is true, then i totally disagree. It all depends on how you use it. example: many of MIKE's synths have extreme amounts of delay, and they are sooo powerful. i think its more the sample, rather than the delay effect, that might weaken a lead.

i like the lead dude... not sure about the vocal sound tho

nice tune but for me it falls into that 98-99 kinda sound and i think trance has moved on a bit from there... it all sounds very clean.. the drums could do with dirtying up a bit and get some more ferocious fx in there!! get rid of the more old skool elements and this could be really good!! the zombie nation style lead could be really wicked!!!

plenty of extra marks for it being YOUR OWN TUNE!!!!

keep it up!!
