What Speakers Have You Got?
I just brought myself a set of 'Creative Inspire 5.1 5500's' They have a reasonably good sound quality, but I am disapointed with the surround sound, it's not really noticible at all I was gonna get some Cambridge Megaworks but I kept on spending all my money faster than I could save it anyway Im just wondering what u guys use to play your trance mp3's on..

Oh, and they don't just play mp3s either
I'm not really in to surround sound as i don't watch a lot of movies.. a good normal stereo setup is much preferred.
Got a pair of Zachry Mindtech F1-817's and a homebuilt 2x12" sub, and a NAD C370 amp (very satisified with that one, soo much power)..
at the comp i use sony v600 headphones so i don't disturb the neighbours when gaming/producing trance at night..

B&W DM 303's. 100W. Very sexy.
I run everything through my amp to these speakers - which is CD player, CD burner, MD player, CPU, DVD player and VCR. DVD's through my speakers are a bit special.
Think I'm gonna get are hardware mixer soon though.

I've never heard comp speakers sounding better than my setup:
2 x Yamaha YST M10, 10W/c RMS, front speakers
1 x Yamaha YST MSW M10, 25W RMS, godly sub
2 x Yamaha M101, 3W/c RMS, rear speakers
the later ones were bought for very cheap (and they sound cheap), but they do just fine to create the surround effect when I occasionally need it...

The Z-680's are God's pc speakers: 505 Watt RMS
They'll make any home cinema set sound like crap

Needed cheap speakers for my mixer, and these were a mere £40
25watt RMS each, so they can give more than enough sound for bedroom mixing
