Question Where to find news about records...

Whats sites would you go to to find out about new up-and-coming singles?? It would be great to find out about them before they are out and maybe get a listen to what it sounds like, so Im not behind in all the record buying.

Go to record label web-sites. Join their mailing lists. For instance, I'm on Platipus'es mailing list and I know what their latest releases are because they send out an e-mail a few days before it hits store shelves.

Haven't used it personally, but I heard http://www.discogs.com is where it's at.

You could also try listening to some radio to hear what is about. Armin's "A State Of Trance" (ASOT) is a very popular trance show and well worth checking out IMO.

The problem with hearing about stuff before it's released is that sometimes you wait ages (even a year or more) before you can actually buy it

In addition to what FuzzyGreen said, you can also visit specific websites of an artist. If you have a list of your favorite artist, do a search through search engines to find out a specific address (if the artist has a website).
The good thing is that they will usually be the first to let you know any up coming projects or collaboration with other artists, in addition with a new guise name if applicable.

Check out websites of record stores. They usually list an upcoming record release if they anticipate for it to sell well. I also like to check out their white labels for harder to find stuff.
