Synths don't use phono cables. Normally, they use 1/4 inch jacks. By phono, do you mean RCA leads (red and White).
Okay, see those big black plugs that say mic on them. the ones with 3 holes. Well they are XLR connections.
The ones below the XLR's look like 1/4 inch connections, the same as a large headphones lead. Your synth should have these connections for their outs. If they use 1/4 (big headphone) sockets, then buy some of these cables and you connect the left audio to say line 7 mic/line in which is above left of your lcd display screen. The right audio cable then goes into line 8 next to it. Do the same with the other synth so that left goes into line 5 mic/line and right audio into line 6 mic/line.
Now, if you are using the RCA cable (red and white) like the ones you would use to connect a turntable or cd player to a dj mixer, then you need to go get yourself 4 "RCA to one quarter inch adaptors" from a music equipment store. These will enable you to plug in the synth's RCAs to the mixer's 1/4 jacks, just as I described earlier.
does that help/make sense?
