PvD & the Aztecs 3 nights ago...

may 10

it was a memorable experience indeed...

from the the very begining he was determined
to go full-force almost as if he wanted to
reconfirm to his fans his musical prowess

(it is worth to mentionion i was surprised to meet
2 guys while waiting on line who turned out to
be @ miami last march but that's another story...)

specially since the local openers unlike luis diaz
(who does an amazing job preparing the crowds with
low key melodies creating an ambiance to the point
you can't wait any longer ex: @ roxy pv starting
by 1:45am) the mex dj's took a different
approach... and were playing extremely well from
9-12pm engaged with creative/intense progressive
sequences to the point that by 11 i decided to take
a break and socialize so i would have enough energy
for latter...

i recall my brother asking me what the first hour
of pv would be like given the situation so i told
him "dude pv has no choice but to start even harder
take a look @ the floor unlike in other events
everyone seems to be dancing... in fact, rush and
and get me 2 red bulls before the dancers go away
i wouldn't be surprise for him to start right after
them..."

the timing was perfect seconds latter, as if we
were in the beginning of a soccer game or boxing
match pv was announced "para ustedes desde alemania
paul van dyk" as he arrived to the center of the
stage wearing an all black oufit that nicely
contrasted with a recent sun-tan the man with the
quick smile was there...

by the way the temperature in the city was around
85 degrees!

in brief, the initial ~journey~ was hard reached
a plateau and maintained it for 3 hours!... followed
by 2 hrs of transey and melodic tunes & gradually
returning to the initial opening approach...

great combination...

hope you enjoyed the short description guys!

ciao,

david
