Anyone using Roland A-37 for their midi keyboard controller?
I'm having trouble controlling Reason and Cubase with the keyboard and would really appreciate some help.

What exactly are you having problems with?

mmm I had a Roland A-30. Check the following:
Proper midi conections.
Check the settings in reson and cubase that is set to the right midi channel.
Thats the only thing I can think of right now. I'll post more if I remeber any problems I had.

Thanks all for replying.
I'm having trouble just making the controller work on either of the programs. Here's what I have done:
1. A midi cable between A-37's Midi Out A into RME Hammerfall's Midi In 1.
2. Set A-37's Midi Out channel to 1.
3. In Reason, I set under preferences, MIDI In 1
4. Goto the soft synths and try and play the notes.
I get nothing from that... Am I missing something important?
