reason bass sounds

im having trouble getting a good bass sound with reason (using the subtractor). is there a refill that has better bass sounds in it? or am i just not trying hard enough to get what im looking for out of the factory sound bank?

there's a "leads'n'bass refill" that has some pretty cool basslines (as well as leads). check out the production equipment forum on trance.nu for more info..

I use the Malstrom synth for my bass sounds.
Get the 'DX Bass' patch which is found in
Factory Soundbank > Malstrom > Bass

It's the best one i've come across.

i just use the subtractor Init Patch, most of the time. if you tweak it right, you can get some wicked sounds out of it.
