question - how is it that the sounds is so clear and crisp on the videos, and not loud and distorted?

steve: not distorted? crisp and clear? I always cringe when i listen to the videos because IMO the sound sucks... compared to what i hear in the club.

I guess it could be much worse. The monitors (speakers) are just next to me when I shoot, so i think i almost get a direct feed... hehehe

no it sounds really good. im not sure if all video cameras handle the sound that way, but i would think that being so close to the loud monitors would affect the sound and make it all distorted and loud in the recording...

I think that camera I use has a better mic than average cameras... its a 3CCD camera after all (3500$+)...

there is some destortion, but its not that bad...

c'mon biggy, there's this cool 5-6K $ camera that looks so nice and gives amazing shots with see-thru-clothes options and stuff hehehehe j/k
