Your right Carlos M, not many common songs go into M.I.K.E - Sunrise At Palamos... as far as strange world, i dont care for it too much, so i dont spin it.
However, Ive found a couple of tracks that will go with Sunrise At Palomos...
Check out this playlist for a liveset i did on Basicbeats Radio on 14th of Feb. 03
1/ Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp
2/ Vicent de Moor - Additional Works vol 3 b
3/ Nu-Nrg & The Moon - Supersonic
4/ Rollerball - Albinoni (super 8 remix)
5/ Kansai - Rococco
6/ M.I.K.E - Sunrise At Palamos
7/ Chakra - Doors (spacebrothers remix)
8/ Ocean Lab - Sky Falls Down (avb instrumental remix)
9/ 4 Strings - Into The Night (gabriel & dresden 6 deep dub)
10/ Vincent de Moor - Additional Works 3a
11/ Paul Van Dyk - Columbia (pvd remix)
12/ Dee Dee - The One (green martian remix)
13/ M.I.K.E - Elements Of Life
14/ Solarstone - Solarcoaster (midway remix)
15/ Hi-Gate - Hurricane
16/ Lange - Don`t Think It (feel It) (cosmic man remix)
17/ Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes (club mix)
18/ Hydra - Affinity
'Eyal Barkan - D.M.S' also mixes well after 'Mike - Sunrise At Palamos' only when mixed in a certain way.
I think that part of the reason that its not the easiest track to combine (sound wise) is that its tunning of the synths sound very destinctive... and synths are being played even throughout the outro of the song.
| quote: | | Tiesto mixed out of M.I.K.E - Sunrise at Palamos into Riva - Stringer in his first Dutch Dimension set (04.01.00) and that sounded fuckign solid |
I disagree. I personally thought the mix of 'M.I.K.E - Sunrise at Palamos' to 'Riva - Stringer' sounded weird and did not really go well. I believe that tiesto mix was an example that on certain tracks like 'Sunrise at Palamos', there is more than just beatmatching, equing, to get it sounding right.
Peace,
Rick
