Oh damn, it is was the plug itself, it is very easily fixable by taking the plug apart and re soldering the loose wire. That's all it really is, just a connection on the ground wire is bad. But I imagine you took the wires out from inside of the ear pieces them selves? Find any electronics store near you, like here in the US we have Radio Shack, and they should have a universal replacement cord, use that for now and order OEM one from Pioneer. Good Luck, Cheers...
