no offence but don't u think you are overdoing it on the anthems? I mean like almost literally every single one of those is an anthem...

is this not the normal path of a trance DJ .. ?

^^^^^ Exactly Em. Not only that. From what I read in that post Armada it's that you think all trance (melodic or vocal or not) is anthemic? Who cares? Anthem, no anthem, as long as the tracks are good and the set flows I would love it.

think of this as constructive crit and not flamming
i agree with armada...unless this is PURELY for bedroom dj'ing...this is something i can hear from tiesto or armin anytime...why should i listen to it from you? you gotta develop your own style like try taking a track like perpetous dreamer - sound of goodbye and just using the short sample of the vocals with minimal synths in the background and play that over another song...using samples from movies (pulp fiction is always a popular choice ) and using that creatively in your mix could really pump up the crowd, and it makes dj'ing a lot more fun.
Tiesto always said that through his music he wants to tell a story...oakenfold said that people go to clubs to have a good time and free themselves from their everyday troubles and music helps them do this...
think of what you wish to accomplish by dj'ing and put it to work

hey Christos.
This is exactly the kind of set I've been looking for ...one which I could listen to while running or working out. energetic without build ups that take forever. thnx for the mix.

Well that was the aim .....i'm more about the journey (start with melodic trance -> tougher uplifting trance) as this was an expression of how I felt at the time (hence the title).....It is one of many I have made and will be uploading them progressively for all to enjoy. Thank you all for your most welcomed and appreciated feedback......it means a lot to me when someone (on the other side of the world) enjoys something I have put together. Thanks guys.

I really like alot of the tracks in this set, I'll download it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I love hearing people's sets, Something to look foreward to on my commute to and from work...perfect length too.

Thanks again for all the feedback....I was wondering, from those who have listened to it, what do you think of the mixing technically?? i.e. flow, beatmatching etc....This would be handy to know....
