oh sorry i meant what is key adjustment or what does it do...on the pdt-6000 there is a key adjustment fader so i was just wondering what it does.

I guess we're talking about "keys" in the way musically sophisticated people do...

Some djs who are so good at mixing that they get bored doing it find it stimulating to mix songs that are "in key", meaning that the vocals/melodies/whatever sound nice together. I think this fader you mentioned adjusts the pitch without changing the tempo.

Pretty useful if you want to play a 130bpm song at 140bpm, but don't want to hear chipmunking.

It's so relieving to know that no matter how much you practice, there's always something more difficult to work on...
