Hey M8, in USD if you know, with shipping what is your friend's Budget??? I'll give him a great deal on a good mixer, but need to know what is he looking to spend and what type of music he spins, that will help me with making sure features will benefit the user.

I never touched the behringer mixers but alot of ppl on this board uses them and they dont complain but i have played with the Gemini( i own one) and the numark, and i must say the numark is pretty decent, the kills are amazing and the EQs are fantastic
but the gemini mixer is a scratch mixer so its really hard to pull off smooth mixes specially if your spinning trance like me, see if you can test them out before he buys them, and with the behringers you get what you pay for, its like that for all the mixers above.
I read you're satisfied with 2 chanels... forget it, it's not enuf. And those kill switches, damn, they're handy!

that's true, but I don't think there will be complaints with this mixer. It's a really good machine.(btw, i don't have shares from behringer )

I know somebody who does use them. a cdj who started of with vinyl...
If you refuse to get the behringer, i guess the gemini 626 is a good choice.

hi, well..i'm the friend who needs the new mixer
I spoke to DJ Tranz and I think we can make a good deal. The behringer VMX300 will do fine I guess (for the price that i have to pay). Kill switches indeed look handy, but the bpm counters are unnessecary, cause i wan't to hear when i beat match..NOT SEE if it's slightly off
tnx for your help anyway, cause I never heared/looked at Behringers'..
