TORONTO, June 5 /CNW/ - Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien is the man
to beat in the upcoming World Stupidity Awards which take place Friday in
Toronto. "Frankly, we're surprised," said awards organizer Albert Nerenberg
after over 1000 online nominations came in from all over the world.
"Chretien is ahead of US president George Bush and Saddam Hussein. It may
have something to do with the feeling that Hussein may not exist and Bush
appears to be using his brain a lot lately."
The Stupidity Awards were created by the Main Organization Revealing
Obvious Numbskulls (MORON) to recognize international achievement in
stupidity.

Yea, i know about this organization.
They were here on Friday presenting the award to Toronto Mayor Lastman! He obviously wasn't there. I dont know why they gave him the award... I think he's done a wonderful job as mayor of Toronto for the past few years!

I have a lot of admiration for that bastard, Chretien, he just keeps going and going and going....
Even and especially in the face of adversity! From what I understood, the politicians in Ottawa are trying to slow down legislative proceedings, etc., until the Old Bastard finally retires. Which is highly disturbing and very much a bad thing to do, but just shows how much resilience Jean has.
Bush really can't compare because he has all that Nationalism on his side. Anyone who disagrees with him can just easily be denounced as "unpatriotic" (patriotism being actually nationalism) or as a "terrorist." Chretien, on the other hand, has pretty much everyone against him haha!!

i think he's done a great job at times and a rather crap job in others. he's a very flamboyant and charismatic mayor, but often dives head first into the shallow end of the pool. however, i still can't complain, everybody makes mistakes (perhaps not as big as some of his recent mistake).
