Well, I write hard trance myself, I'm a big fan of this genre, so I took a listen!

Pretty cool, I especially like the metallic effect that starts at 1:22. However, I don't like your lead synth. It's weird and doesn't suit hard-trance. I guess it should be crisper and sharper. I also don't like that quick "twist" at the end of the melody that makes it sound Middle Eastern

Keep working.

thx for the input, yeah that metalic bass sound i have to admit i am proud of. inspired by scott project of course. about the lead, i agree with you, trying to eq it better, i may just use a different patch altogether, but i kinda like the "quick twist" middle eastern feel. who knows, lots more to do....

thx again.

I really like your percussion, except for the kick. I think it should be a bit more...big. Like, not something that you hear and say "oh yeah a kick..." but something that hear and say "that just kicked my ass!" I myself am not too fond of the bass, i think the metalic ring is annoying. I like the leads "middle eastern" feel, but i dont think that it works as a hard trance lead. I think it would make a much better filler, you know? Again, great percussion. Keep them comin.

thx man, yeah i guess it could use a better kick, or maybe just a better eq'd kick. i still have lost of mixing work to do on this one, maybe it'll come through in the final mix. im really stubborn about the lead, i cant let it go. im trying right now to make a better sound that will do it justice. when i get something good ill post it. BTW all the percusion exept the kick is goping through a distortion effect, maybe ill try putting the kick in with it, just a thought.

thx again

This really has potential imo, that metal bass kicks ass! (just make the kickdrum do the same)
I agree that the lead would be better as filler, but eq it more cause it kinda sounds flat. I love that snare that starts at 2'03! And that twist: I would keep it cause it gives the track something that makes it stand out from others (know what I mean?)
Keep it up, fire it up!

thx for the input, i think im gonna set that lead a little more in the background, but eq'd better so it stands out more. its not a great lead, just something different, so it can be something different in the background. and i still have to arrange this f*ckin thing! will post next version.
