Whoa, not liking the bass. 1337 percussion I really am diggin those pads. Really nice lead. This song is just screaming "give me vocals!" Great use of effects! I think this has a real exotic sound to it. Nice work. 9/10

Well, sorry. I should clarify. The sample you hear in the begining i was not fond of... the one playing with the bd and maracas(?). I hadnt heard the bass underneath that before. I like the bass that comes in at 00:27, but i just dont care for the sample that you chose for the thing in the intro. i hope that clarified... if not, i guess pm me and i'll try to explain things better. =/

ah that one... no probs, i understand

hmm, well i tried a different bass on top of the driving one. otherwise the basslines might all be seeming the same. perhaps i should take a different one then?

cheers,
LW

ok here goes

right at the start, nice kick and the percusion sounds nice.

not sure on that sound right at the start though just personal preference though, sounds kinda like a bass sound, but it cant be because your bassline kicks in soon after.

anyway so far so good.

nice pads coming in, really uplifting stuff here.

around 1:50 sounds great, melody is nice, and the synth sound is great!!

breakdown is ok, could use some more sounds in it though.

ok right into the main part now.
melody is good, i know someone said its cheesy, this isnt cheesy its kinda commercial, but not all commercial is cheese, so yea i like it.

this is the kinda trak that would definetly work well in a club.

great work mate.
one of your best so far IMO

cant wait to hear the vocal mix.

Rating 8/10

TM

this is sounding very nice production = top notch..

good building stuff.. that synth at 1:55 sounds well cool

the melody kinda reminds me of old airscape stuff, very uplifting and epic its a good melody but not as good as the last icone track i heard of urs

i love the way it builds up from one breakdown to the next, but i think it needs some more fx thru that part (and maybe the build before the first breakdown too) to give it a little more variation.. i feel that u need to make the second buildup sound a little more different to the first

all in all its a good track

This is my first ever "review" on here, so i`ll just let ya know how i`m gonna do it:

I`ll split the review into 4 categories Production Quality , Origianlity , Song Structure and Reviewers Personal Preferences I will give marks out of 25 for each category, adding up to a total of 100

So.........

Production Quality

The sound of this tune is just fantastic, a lot of effort has obviously been put in to make this one sound clear and banging. The lower end is mixed perfectly, you can clearly distingush the Bassdrumm from the bassline, its not muffly or clouding the mix. The lead is perfect!

23/25

Originality
There is a lot of kool sounding things in this track. Although i did tend to find the little high pitch noise in the mid-section extremely annoying! The main synth line is very uplifting, and the arrangement is fantastic.

17/25

Song Structure
Flows very well this little number does. Well mixed together, but its very basic, the mid-section was lacking in my honest opinion! It need some extra FX in there, but it hink what it lacks is vocals. If there were vocals in this track it would be top-notch!

20/25

Reviewers Personal Preferences
I love to listen to tracks like this one, well mastered with a uplifting feel to it. I highly enjoyed listening to it and its deffinatly going my mp3 player Good job!

21/25

TOTAL OUT OF 100 : - 81!

mmm, jummy

very nice track wim! i really like the bassline and atmosphere in this track, the main melody sounds a bit like an airbase one, but mayb a bit 2 cheezy imo the synth itself rocks tho

grtz,

mantis
