Denon 2100f technical problem

last week i saw an offer of an used denon dual cd player that was good so i bought it
i was playing happily with my tables and cds until the denon started making an strange sound (distorsion of the playing song, like an awful pitch shift), this model doesnt have effects, just loop and digi scratch...
i returned it to the man i got it from and he told me he would see if he could fix it (he has and audio shop that sells new things too)
the funny thing about this is that the player didnt always make this distortion, anyone knows what it could be? or anyone has a denon 2100f?
i already checked the mixer, turntables, computer, and everything that is plugged to the mixer and everything is ok
if it cant be fixed i will get the money back (i hope), but i want to check that the problem isnt caused by any of my other things
peace

Talking it working

it seems to be working now, i just got back from the technical service and they tested the cd player in front of me and it worked great, when i came back home it was still making this awful sound
so i started checking everything i have in my room, finally it seems that the distortion was caused by my pc speakers wich had some faulty cables
now the denon is working great since i unplugged the speakers and made a ground wire for the cd players, funny thing...
i posted it for anyone that could have the same problem in the future, remember to check everything else you have!
peace
