Ok, so I want to do that choppy reverbed vocal effect used in pretty much all vocal trance songs (you know the one i am talking about ;D). This has been covered before on this forum, and so far I have had little luck getting it right. The whole "reverse then reverb then reverse" thing was simple enough, but how do you do gating in flstudio?

Ive tried playing around with the volume automation, tried linking the volume to a peak controller etc. but the sound I get in the end just sounds crap!

How do other flstudio users do this effect? Or is there something I'm not doing right?
