requesting tunes at a gig: out of line or plenty fine?
I am just currious... the last few gigs i have been at i have seen people holding signs requesting songs they want the dj to spin. I have mixed feelings about this because i went there to see an artist do their thing and play what they felt. However, i might be thinking about it too much and it is part of the experience? Let me know what you think...

questionable: depends of the mood of dj and of the song requested. If it's a song that can fit well in the set i think it's plenty fine.
When im at work, if someone came and kept telling me how to do it (ie - what tunes to play) id end up packing my tools up and saying "if u can do better then u do it", but at the same time theyre there to entertain us, so, i dunno really.

It depends. If it's a local DJ in a club who's there every weekend then go ahead. If it's a big name DJ that you've paid a pile of money to see then let them do what they want.

If the dj is in a good mood and is enjoying the vibe, and you want him to play a fairly famous track he usually drops or remixed or whatever, than its fine.
If you're asking Sasha to play a Happy Hardcore track or sumtin u will probly be killed
