Geez, hope Toronto does something fun for Cananda Day. Post here what are the best things to go and visit on Canada Day in TO. I have never been here for July 1st and, frankly, I'm disappointed with the lack of hype that TO has for Canada Day. Is it possible that Ottawa is a much better place?
Tell me what is there to do?

other than pride stuff there isn't a whole lot going on. the Guv event looks 'meh' and there just doesn't seem to be much else. there is a good lineup of DJ's spinning at pride stuff (i think dekoze and jelo and few others)

Well hey, if there aren't, we can always organize a massive TOTA illegal fireworks party!

ahh Kafka is fantastic! I read "The metamorphosis" a while ago, and i've gotta go read it again! Machiavelli, definatly a must read too!! I haven't gotten around to reading Marx yet tough.. or Hobbes for that matter.. though I was eyeing "Leviathin" (sp?) at the shop =] maybe next time. I will definatly look out for Kant as well..
