Cor Fijneman and Dj Precision.

I am planing a party in Texas, with both of the dj's: Cor Fijneman and Dj Precision. However, my fucking buisness partner wants to bring other crap house and DnB. And doesn't beleive they would bring in money. I just want some opinions. How many of you would pay $15 to $20 to go see them and every good local?

thanks

peace
-Andrew

I'm afraid I'll have to give him right here. How known do you really think Cor and Precision are in Texas? They barely pull crowds as it is in Holland's neighbouring countries, let alone the US.

I would pay 15-20 to see them, but I do agree with everyone else, I think not that many people would show up, you would have to promote like a mother****** to get a crowd there. I've personally never heard of Cor Fijneman coming to the states, so this would be a first. But then again, the local dj's might be a good thing to bring in the crowd.

peace,

Steve

a friend told me when Cor played at glow in D.C., not many people showed up, and Dj Montana even opened for him. If house and DnB djs bring the crowd, then so be it. They really are a neccessary evil sometimes, well not for me cause i like house and some DnB, but you get the point.

See, thats the problem. I wanted to book precision as a closing dj for a larger dj. Precision is cheap, but now im stuck finding a main room trance dj. My partner keeps telling me to forget the trance idea, but that is fucking stupid. I want to bring someone! I talked to armin and corsten and tiesto and pvd.

PVD: Playing in Aug already.
Armin/Corsten: Really want to play texas but are booked untill next year, they only get 1 day a month for the USA.
Tiesto: Has dates open in October, but my partner is reluctent to spend money on him. Im sure he is $12,000

Kimball collins, Christopher Lawrence, Thrillseekers, WHO!?!?! Id love some idea's other than fucking: Bad Boy Bill, Richard Humpty Vision, Irene, Monk, CRAPTACULAR SHIT DJ'S! :{

peace

It is texas, so you can't have a party without opossum roasting!! I'm always up for a heapin' helpin'.

Tijs or Armin!!!!! They're worth the price!!

If you can't afford them, this guy always used to pack them in as I recall:

Ron-E
http://www.epro-recordings.com/

He spins some wicked hard trance.
He was going to spin in Dallas with Armando last night. I'd have given anything to be there hehe. I used to go see him every chance that I had. HE Always tore the roof off!! I heard he tours int. dates now...

Just promote your ass off, and they will come!

Where will this be? Austin? Waco??

Well my opinion is that they probably won't bring in a big crowd, not because people wouldn't like to see them play, it's becasue my guess is most of the people around there have never heard of those 2 DJ's, so most people will be like who the hell are these guys, and not go...Of corse I'd pay that much to see them heh.

So that's probably why your friend wants to bring in some local talent too because that will make more people go, and maybe because of this they will hear Cor or Precision playing and be like "wtf, this is great!" And that will result in a bigger crowd next time?

That's just what I think...

The local talent will be off the hook, I planned on bringing all the good locals. Though I dont like RON E, I was going to bring him and kid icarus, and all the other well known locals. John 00 fleming is a thought, but he is about the same I think... When it comes to people KNOWING him. Armin is booked for ever, and I want to book tijs in october, no matter what

peace
-Andrew
