[trance] John Steenbergen - I Miss You
It's been a while since I finished something, but here it is And no vocals this time
Please listen and tell me what you think of it and what you think needs to be improved. Thanks!
Introductive part is maybe too long. Sawtooth sounds kinda primitive.
Main riff is ok. Maybe you should try to move supersaw sound octave up.
Overall: 7/10

The main bit is great, but it sounds a bit dry. Maybe a bit more reverb or more stuff going on the background would help. The closed hihats are also a tad too loud compared to the rest of the mix.
Lovely tune otherwise
like your track, melody is great.
Awesome composing of the track and I believe if you just work on the bassline ( too weak )...

Hi John
Lovely little track you got there. Nothing really special, but it works... I'm not too fond of the dry sound and some of the drums (claps & kick), but the rest sounds a ok.
Cheers
Wim

thanks for listening tv and lw!
ill see if i can make the bassline a bit stronger, although it sounds alright on my radio and headphones
im not too font of my clap myself.. and i guess i need to add some reverb to make it more 'wet'
thnx for feedback guys!
i have to agree: the bass could use some work. and the percussion is kinda dry. i like the patterns and everything, just needs a little reverb. maybe some eqing. i really like the breakdown. i would mess with the attack on the strings, so that they arent so stabbing, you know? give it more of a mellow touch. lead sample is kinda simple. great chord progressions! keep it up john!
