Hey Montrealers!

I was just reading up on the Aria schedule thread, as I'm going to be in Montreal every week during July for work. I noticed that on July 5th it says that "XL" will be starting his new residency at Aria. Who is this XL? Is he worth going to see?

If not, can anyone recommend something else to do on the nights of Friday the 4th or Saturday the 5th? That's the only weekend I'm actually staying in Montreal instead of flying home.

XL used to be a resident at a lot of afterhours in Montreal specially @ Sona , he basicallly has his own crowd that follows him everywhere , he's a house dj

yeah house with some progressive, but as he'd say: "shut up and dance"...

and for damndirtyape: regardless if there's nothing special going on the weekend you're in town, at least check out the locals residents, guys like lafleche, xl, preach have a very distinct underground sound, something different that you'd be hardpressed to find in the tdot.
