you might need to update your McAfee software. Which site did you use?

I think I would go with the McAfee one over an online one anyday. My friend recently got hit with a virus and used an online scanner...found a virus that infected every .exe file he had and attempted to repair it...days later his computer was in a constant reboot cycle and had to format. He lost 40 gigs and a shitload of classic trance (yes, I sent it all to him lol).

1. try NORTON antivirus. sooo good.

2. that virus youre talkng about , i just got rid of it on MY comp.
called i.worm.stator32 , affects most .exe files. I coouldnt start most of my programs. dont use the autofix.
in my case i got this message "loadpe.com caused an error in "
the REAL loadpe.com file is a system file. VERY important....
well the virus i got tookt the file and it renamed and changed around my system files. to fix the one loadpe.com file i went into my computers registry editor (goto run and type in regedit and open it.)after that you go to a certain spot and type in a string to replace the edited one. IF YOU HAVE THIS EXACT PROBLEM, PM me for the instructions. if you dont have the exact problem contact a PROFESSIONAL , i am NOT responsible if you screw up your computer....sorry....

Dont worry about viruses for the most part. If you go to google and type in "free online virus scan" youll hit Trend Micros scanner, whatever that gets is fine, I have about 15 uncleanable boot sectors and trojans and all this BS and none of them really do anything.

Check Symantec, get the cleaner. If nothins out there it isnt that big of a problem

I dont even scan unless i notice my computer running more shitty, its all in your mind
