If you add weight to your tonearm, then that will help. Also, don't play the record as fast--it should help also. If it is really warped, thensee about getting a return, or just re-order it.

Since you didn't search for a topic on here, I'll say my .02. The 2 glass experiment works. Just go to your hardware store, buy 2 12x12 sheets of glass, then come home blow dry it to death for about 5 minutes, til it gets pretty warm, then place it in between the two pieces of glass on a flat surface. Then on top of that, add weigt, I used 4 cinderblocks, i think thats how you spell it, anyways, it works, perfect, mint when its done. Hope that helped for your BENDED
record.
peace,
Steve

instead of putting glass over it and a book... would blow drying it and putting a thick book over it work?

i would like to kno what any heat would do to the grooves of the record. like, over time the heat, and friction of the needle wears away the grooves, so the sound slowly deteriorates...would doing this simulate a record being played a bunch of times?
but, when u get a warped record, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, cuz nobody wants to pay the extra postage to replace one record. (the postage would probably be more than the records worth)
