this site could be misleading really

there are mp3s that are ripped from different groups (who use different TTs) and some tracks are only available on vinyl.

Download more than 2 to around 5 mp3z of the exact same track, and there could be a bpm difference of more than 2 (eg one mp3 is 135 the other 138) Get a bpm counter to do this.

best way to find bpm on ur dex:
set ur pitch 2 zero,
hook up ur dex to the line in in ur comp thru ur mixer
record a sample
put it thru traktor..
worked perfectly for me

There is a better way than traktor, you gotta record them into mp3 first, then load them through traktor. I got a much easier way...

Take Winamp (Classic, not the crappy version 3)

Download this plugin (BPM Display, and pitch fader)
http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/detail.jhtml;$sessionid$HU5PEDOJY0XBQ5YAAAARCZI?componentId=47128

Then Download this one (Line in plugin for winamp, which lets things like the BPM counter work through line in)
http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/d...mponentId=84040

Then hook up your mixer to your computer, start your line in plugin and the BPM display one, and you got real time bpm, and it works fast too and is accurate. What else is cool too, you can run winamp visualtion plugins to your vinyl thanks to the line in plugin. Ahh winamp, what cant it do.
