there is nothing to it... just check you don't go into the red on your mixer or you get really bad sound... but, that's about all.

Make sure you get your levels right.

You should probably start off about th 0 mark on your mixer.

This will leave you a little bit of headroomm throughout the mix. You should be aiming to raise the volume to about + 3 - 5 slowly over the course of the set. This will help filter a bit more enrgy into the set.

Also even if you fuck up just keep mixing. I know when I started recording at first I found it really frustrating (being a perfectionist and all). Now every thing I do I record and the fact that I'm recording doesn't phase me in the slightest.
