hmm, well, I tried one, some anti static for windows in PVC... It's a liquid that somehow, takes away the ability for PVC(= actually vinyl (PVC = Polyvinylchloride) ) to become charched with static electricity...
Check your local radio shack or som hardware store, alot of shops sell that stuff...

For a quick fix, try wiping the vinyl with a simple dryer sheet--just be careful not to apply too much pressure, as it could get junk from the dryer sheet caught in the grooves. I use them often, but will very soon need to pick up some of that spray stuff.
