Well it sounds like something is trying to access yr cd rom drive, this sounds pretty odd.

First restart yr comp, and then try running the game, as it might have been an issue after installing.

Anyway if the problem continues, which it shouldnt, just download a crack for it from www.gamycopyworld.com or somehwere and crack the exe file, to stop it trying to read from the cd. It doesnt need to anyway if u have fully installed it, just does it so u dont copy the cd and pass it round. Kinda stupid considering u can crack it

Q. I have Windows XP and Gangsters installs ok but when I try to run the game I get an error message Unable to initialize cd player please make sure no other application is accessing cd.

A. Please download this patch and it will solve the problem.
