Imagine this:
A friend of yours (lets say a she) has a hamster in a cage. You don't know if she has one or not since you haven't checked. One happy day you decided you want to get her a cute little hamster.
Now, you have two options.
You could either check if she already has a hamster, or you could take the chance that she doesn't has one since you haven't seen one.

Anyway, you buy her a hamster.

So, you come to her house with a cute little hamster with four legs thinking happy thoughts. When she finds out you have bought her a new hamster she start yelling at you: "Dude! your crazy, I already have a fucking hamster! You could've checked if I had one first!"

Now, of course there can be different situations:

- The hamster is fully visible as you enter the house.
- The hamster could be hiding under the couch.
- She could be hiding the hamster in a box in her basement.
- The hamster is hidden on a place where it is impossible to find it.

If the hamster is fully visible. Don't buy a new hamster.

If the hamster is hiding under the couch. Then with minimum effort you should be able to find it. Don't buy a hamster.

If the hamster is hidden under a box in her basement, then you shouldn't have to put that much effort just to be 100% sure she doesn't have a hamster. You can buy her a new hamster.

If the hamster is impossible to find. Then the search button is broken.

I'm prosearch, unless it brings back to life a thread wich last reply was more than one year ago. Basically because I'm annoyed with people quoting/replying to posts from (i.e.) 2001.

So I can't vote because my option is not in the list.
