Well I hope it went well for ya!
I was real nervous each time I did it. You can guess from that last sentence I failed (twice). But it made me a better driver!
(yeh right!)

Come to the US, all you need to know in order to drive is which pedal is the accelerator, which is the decelerator, and how to turn the wheel.
Oh yea, and how to exchange liscence and insurance when you eventually hit another car.

I failed my test twice for VERY stupid reasons. I am a horrible driver the first time, I took a left turn in a right-hand turn lane. (I suppose that is illegal!) The second time, I kind of rolled up to a stoplight too far for the instructors liking. Cost me 25$ each time i failed it and I have been too lazy to go up and try again. The test I had to take was a lot harder than the ones you describe. You have to drive around town making all kinds of turns, across railroad tracks, then you have to drive on a highway for about 30 minutes (I didnt get that far though) The trick is simply to pay attention and dont break any laws and your done!

my test was easy. i left the parking lot, took a right, then a left, did a 3point turn(well more like 5 point turn) and returned back to the parking lot. the guy kinda got annoyed with me though cause he thought i was driving too slow. ha he should see how i drive now

I had a hell of a time with the written portion of the test, but the actual driving was easy. The guy I had to take the test with was really cool, he told me to put my window up and turn the air on high...he even reclined his seat to get confortable They've done away with the 3 point turn here also, so it was just parallel park and some road driving.
