as a dj you don't want to copy the styles of other djs. you gotta go with something thats unique and expresses yourself.
but since this is your first mix, it doesnt really matter its best to work on the fundamentals before you start going after style.
I didn't really listen to the whole thing thru, i just skiped to the mixs, so i can't really tell you much about the vibe (i'm not really into epic/hard trance as much as i used to be in the past).
your mixs though need some work. they were all very quick and not smooth. a couple times the songs weren't beatmatched and you just sorta faded over as the beat droped out on both songs.
that mixing style worked out ok for the first mix, but for the rest of the CD it doesn't do justice.
you gotta make the mixs longer and throw in the new song at the right measure and slowly phase it in as you phase out the old one.
now if you were playing this mix to a crowed of drunk people who really didn't know shit about djing and just wanted to hear trance songs this mix would get them moving their asses off.
but if you wanna really make it good, you gotta work on the longer mixs the phasing the beatmatching.
just keep at it. it takes lots and lots and lots of practice.
overall though for your first mix this is nonetooshabby.
goodluck
cheers.
