well my domain name http://www.internationaldjs.net
is doing nothing and it has 50GB of BW
and 1000MB of storage
bills has already been paid for.

no webdesign no time to be running it all on my own..
its putting to a waste,

ok lets start with Australia
would it be nice or a good idea
to have all the nice and voted for AU DJ's voted for mixes to be listed on that site
providing mixes etc..etc.....

mainly for PROMOTIONAL puproses
for the djs/record labelers/events + reviews
list of when a tune will be release and which label and where to get it from, top 10/20 etc.

***DJ FEATURE:
also a very big list of unrelease tunes
provide a DUE TO RELEASE! date/time/label etc......and sample.
that is the one thing i like up there. =)
It could then soon after be passed onto VINYLWARNING for orders through them (for aus etc)...(hope their intersted, this one i haven't really spoken to them yet.. about the idea, will do soon)as i like to help them as i grow/the site grows and help everyone else as a DJ/trancefans to provide them with the right information in the one place.

It will help them and it will help us as the DJs do good for all in future..if everything gets setup.


also could STREAM mixes...24/7 on another server, got a few fast servers to do this
(but i think everyone would just like to download them is good enought?) and also few more servers laying around...and other servers to provide mix downloads. Do all sorts of nice things for this site....if i do ever run short on BW! or space. Have to speak to someone to confirm if i could put it to use.
(should be ok as have asked about this before, friends are good)

Only the best will air, resident too...so yes it will make you as the dj try your best too.

***(Staffs at TAW will be alot friendlier (they already are friendly anyways lol) but it will be ALOT FASTER/QUICKER then trying to fill in your own application form and applying to their site thats for sure)

DESIGN:
could have a simpliar design to my new design (but will do another if someone could do a nice one up) @ www.robenergy.com/v2 (has not been finished)

and best of All site is run by AU TAs if anyone is interested, (someone voted for and has some time.)
will put in other countries later if it is good.
ut for this year, i dont have much time to do much these days

got all the resources plan ideas set.....
just need the TIME to do everything and ALL YOUR SUPPORT! (is needed) thats the only way it could survive. (less time i would have to spend on it but more resources/info to help everyone)

any other idea would be nice too.. if this idea sucks ah i guess its a no go.

***this site is not be replace any other EXISTING SITES which already has some of these features.

Yeah i think its a great idea. I mean if its just going to be sitting there i see no harm in us sharing mixes that we do. Perhaps share like one mix a week or something. There are many talented djs in AU.TA so yeah, i'm all for it.

1 mix a PER month is ok .....for the voted DJ/mixes so everyone has a chance to grab it before it goes.

its mainly for the dj's and for promotional use.
also all the talented djs...out there getting unoticed.

Like the idea, or something along those lines alot....

Don't have the time to design it ATM, but like the idea of setting up something database related for sure, for easy joint admin etc.....

i'm happy 2 do little bits of coding in PHP/ASP/HTML etc if need be but would like to see some1 else really take on this project (as it's got MASSIVE potential).

yes, i have a few problems with tables, it gets abit messy for some reason, but im not sure to keep the same design for internationaldjs.net but for my robenergy.com i will figure out the problem tonight.

well at the moment we have all the resources that is required
radio station for expose (netradio +resident is for sure (the best tho) /national radio will do (for people who can't listen to STREAMS!)/ lots of bandwidth if required.

but just mainly need a CREW people who are dedicated and mature about this project! (SELECTED PEOPLE! for the main bits to be passed on to me, and contribution from everyone will be nice, as i hope ti be helpping everyone and NOT JUST MYSELF!)

nice graphic designers/webdesigners / DJs to be voted for or OP themself in if good enought (FREE webspace for your mixes after it has been aired, if its one of the best voted for the month) and

people to do the contents information ie music reviews and top 10/20 for our chart etc..(more info soon)

and also who would like to help get this site up, i could do this on my own... but still need a graphic designer, for the logo...banners etc.

i will post all the features/mission statement online formally in one post, when i get back home..
so a nice page design could be worked out soon after..

WE GOT THE RESOURCES hope to work something out and put it to use and good things will happen, not putting to waste.

I'm with djway and can probably provide some PHP, ASP, HTML, CGI( in perl / c / whatever) and db backend coding, but I've got not graphic design skills (missing that artistic flair). I'm not sure what sort of niche you are trying to fill that other sites don't have though.

but it will not help me, its about HELPING OTHERS and ASKING for NOTHING IN RETURN! just a simple THANK YOU a smile on someones face is enought...for me to be pleased that good was done...


mainly helping friends at first...
also to help SELL MORE of THOSE RECORDS! @ VW
and also friends @ other record labelers across the globle.
also, provide info on record releases.reviews etc...but at the same
helpping unheard of djs be heard...and everythng is FREE you do not pay a single cent! (BW and webspace could cost the DJ $$$ and i see that quite a few people require webspace so i will help in that.

(i hope that is good for everyone it surely does not help me)
how is this possiable to be free? well we got enought sponsors to give out everything FREE/discounted! (already is set and confirmed so its all good on that part)

if everyone helps put it together
at the end everyone benefits...at least we knew we built something up on our own...
have our own selected AU DJs out there... etc..

got people to do up a site... and contribute with this project
